Within the wide range of
astrophotography we concentrate on prime focus photography of deep sky objects. We started
in 1982 using a Meade 2080 and since 1986 also a Celestron C-11 Schmidt-Cassegrain
telescope. By now we almost exclusively use hydrogen hypered TP 2415 in 35 mm format.
Some widefield shots with photo lenses from 50 mm to 400 mm focal length were achieved during prime focus shots with cameras riding piggyback on the main telescope tube.
Our website is divided into different sections, one on equipment and photographic techniques used, several other ones for the different types of deep sky objects and finally one section for occasional shots of the solar system. The index frames of each section provide thumbnails for all subsequently contained images together with information on the size of the full images.
